Build your own brand with Gilman Cheese! Our private label cheeses are produced in a variety of flavors such as Smoked Cheddar, Smoked Swiss, Onion and Garlic cheeses. We also have a variety of shapes including triangles, wedges, cheese cups and more. Gilman Cheese can produce batch sizes as little as 700lbs for R&D to full scale roll out and production of your private label/brand product. Gilman produces award winning processed cheese that can rival any natural cheese with some of the longest shelf life in the market.

Private Label Setup : All new items will need to be processed through our new item setup. In this process we will work on labeling to ensure the correct ingredients and nutritional information is listed and that the label complies with FDA requirements. Once the proofs are completed, Gilman Cheese will place an order for the labels, and get the item scheduled for production.

What are the steps to building your private label or private brand?

1. • Come up with the brand name and label art work
   • Look at the market you are targeting and what flavors may set your brand apart others
   • Estimate the amount and the frequency of the product you will need to order

2. • Reach out to Gilman Cheese to review your private label goals
   • Review and sign any NDAs
   • Request flavor samples
   • Work on timing to bring your product or brand to market

3. • Send label art work to QA for label review and approval
   • Order labels for product run
   • Schedule Production
   • 
     
4. • For FOB customers: Please reach out to our logistics department to schedule a freight appointment to pick upyour product.
   • For delivered customers: When the order nears completion, our logistics will reach out for setup a drop off time for your order.
