Gilman Cheese makes its processed cheese by blending natural cheeses such as Cheddar, Monterey Jack and Havarti with premium ingredients and cooking it to pasteurization. Our processed cheese has all the flavor of natural cheese with the added benefit of an extended shelf life.

While natural cheese is appetizing, Processed Cheese is equally enticing but has a longer shelf life and added functional qualities. For example, slices of processed cheese on burgers do not 'oil off' like natural cheese does, and doesn't age and crumble like natural cheese.
